WABBIT [LOVE] Pumpkin Carrot Bread Recipe Reveal

Outrageous Pumpkin Bread is gluten free. And it is wonderful. And, it’s available in our church coffee shop Wild Blue. Someimes I indulge prior to Sunday worship services. Yet I’d like to be able to serve it and have it more frequently, but at $17/loaf ($3-something a slice), that’s not happening.

WABBIT LOVE: Glad to be gluten-free Pumpkin Carrot Spice Bread featuring Namaste Spice Cake Mix and Carrots.

I asked the nice people at Outrageous for their Pumpkin Bread Recipe.  Vowed not to share their proprietary treasure. Even pledged to continue to indulge on Sundays, if they’d just share it with me. They sent a polite decline. Who could blame them?

So, the quest continues. With me sampling several gluten free pumpkin bread recipes. Some palates may find it a bit sweet, but it’s definitely share-at-the-office, potluck perfect, small group gatherings worthy. It is moist and pumpkin-y and meets pumpkin-bread lovers’ cravings.

Best Serving Practice: Toasted with a schmear of coconut oil.

And with carrot added, I’ve convinced myself it’s a healthy treat. Don’t spoil my fantasy with a sugar lecture, ok?

If you’ve allergies, Namaste products are free of the top 8 allergens, are gluten, nut and dairy-free. The products are also vegan (if you use egg-replacer instead of eggs. I use eggs). No, I’m not hawking Namaste products, not on commission. Just sharing info.

“This minestrone recipe can be loosely interpreted. The beauty is you can use what you have in the fridge and pantry! It’s a great, hearty soup for this time of year, especially,” Shari Kimmey.

How to Create an Adorable Baby Shower Onesies Guest Book

Giving thanks for family ... and Onesies. Last weekend we had a good time hosting a Baby Shower Tailgater Potluck on behalf of my Denver Bronco Fan-ATIC niece MacKenzie. Her new little fan is due in January and we wanted to create something special to commemorate the celebration. Years ago my dear friend, Laura Fielding Aspegren, fashioned the most adorable children’s “line” to sell at our … [Read More...]
