Food is fellowship. Food is love. Food is a gathering waiting to happen.
I enjoy eating. I enjoy cooking. I enjoy sewing more.

Creative projects mesmerize makers. Hours melt away. Suddenly, as if by surprise we hear choruses of “What’s for dinner?” or “Are you hungry?”
“What’s all the fuss?” you think, looking at the urgent eyes of your kids or your spouse. You’ve been ignoring your growling stomach for hours.
When ‘delivery’ isn’t going to cut it, preparing and enjoying a homemade meal is a great runner-up creative ritual. And, really what’s any gathering without food … maybe just a meeting?
Food is fellowship. When we gather: We eat. We share. We talk.
We enjoy one of God’s most precious gifts. And we share.
It’s a no-brainer that food makes our potluck picnics, game-day watch parties, small group gatherings … most any festivity where two or more are gathered. Let’s promise ourselves to enjoy the foods we love in the company of those close — no matter how elaborate or simple the occasion: Simple weeknight suppers to Thanksgivings and family reunions.
